Das Spiel: Manisaspor – Besiktas (Donnerstag, 19.30 Uhr MEZ).
Die Lage: Ein Spieltag, der die türkischen Fans elektrisiert. Am heutigen Mittwoch (18.30 Uhr, MEZ) tritt Spitzenreiter Fenerbahce (28 Punkte) bei Verfolger Galatasaray (25) an, morgen muss das drittplatzierte Besiktas (24) beim Vierten Manisaspor (23) ran. Keine leichte Aufgabe für die Schwarzen Adler. Da trifft es sich gut, dass Ricardo Quaresma nach seiner Gelbsperre wieder dabei ist. Und klar ist auch: Im Vergleich zum 2:1 gegen Orduspor muss eine Leistungssteigerung her. „Das war ein Sieg des Willens“, sagte auch Trainer Carlos Carvalhal, „aber in Zukunft müssen wir wieder besser spielen.“
Robertos Perspektive: Die Defensive von Besiktas macht derzeit einen sehr stabilen und eingespielten Eindruck – und Roberto ist als rechter Verteidiger eigentlich nicht mehr wegzudenken. „Natürlich ist die Belastung derzeit recht hoch, weil wir jeden dritten Tag ran müssen“, sagt er, „aber mir macht das eigentlich nicht so viel aus. Schon gar nicht, wenn wir so erfolgreich spielen wie zuletzt.“
Der Gegner: Es gibt nicht sehr viele Experten, die dem letztjährigen Zehnten so einen Start in die neue Saison zugetraut hätten. Nach 13 Spieltagen mischt Manisaspor noch immer in der Spitzengruppe mit. Zu verdanken hat dies das Team von Trainer Kemal Özdes vor allem seiner Defensive. Acht Gegentreffer in 13 Spielen – damit stellt Manisaspor die stärkste Abwehr der Liga. Ausbaufähig sind dagegen die Offensivleistungen der Mannschaft. Nur 13 Tore zeugen nicht gerade von einem Angriffs-Feuerwerk. Trotzdem liest sich die bisherige Bilanz beeindruckend: sechs Siege, fünf Unentschieden und nur zwei Niederlagen. Besiktas sollte also gewarnt sein.

I hope you and Fabian are aware how much the real supporters of Besiktas are appreciating your efforts. Although there is a crazy "passion" for Quaresma and sometimes for Fernandes, you should understand that this kind of passion is easy to convert into a kind of hate or a problem as well... What you and Fabian are doing is really taking this club one step further, leading the team in a very different manner; and we are really glad to have both of you in our team...
Coming back to Galatasaray match, may be you will remember the position... It was around 80th minute and you lost a ball on the Galatasaray half, while attacking from the right side... As soon as you lost it; although you were almost dead, you started to run like hell just to make sure that you keep your position while they are attacking... I was worried for you, seeing your head going from one side to another seeing you pushing all your limits to wherever you can take them! But you made it, and you reached, I think Riera, and dispossessed him...
There are trophies, there are winning streaks and of course there are many other types of achievements in football.. But in reality it is just a combination of moments for many people... you can see it in history of Besiktas, many times... before you of course... there are so many matches we won, or lost, taking us nowhere but making all of us sleepless... if you just ask somebody what happened in 1993 or Valerenga, Rosenborg, S.Praha-Lazio games, they will tell you a lot of stories...
I support Besiktas with all my heart because there are moments that I can never forget... Thank you very much for adding another very valuable moment to my memories... This very specific second is just a screenshot of how much you put in for this team...
